It took me 3 tries to get this right. The pattern was a little confusing. I didn't understand the part that says "working around the next..." you'll see what I mean. Also this square takes a bit of yarn. I would say about half a skein. So this is not a scrap yarn project unless you like the multicolor look which is actually quite pretty. The yarn I used is multicolored.

Yarn: Red Heart

Color: Peruvian

Hook: I or 5.5

Finished Square: approx 10 inches

Time: approx 3 and 1/2 hours

 

I had to deleted the pattern. I thought the book was out of print but I saw it the other day at Michaels.
